Industrial Relations

Industrial Relations keeps Purdue FIRST on good par with local, national, and international corporations. We seek companies out to not only introduce who are as an organization but to invite them to be involved with our growing program. Relations with Industrial Partners are formed to provide Purdue FIRST with the corporate funding and support that it needs to continue expanding.

Through the means of supporting Purdue FIRST, we seek new relations with Industry partners through our own research or by invitation from corperate representatives to present to them while they are on the Purdue campus. Presentations may be one-on-one or may also be in group of five and up. In either case a presentation covers who Purdue FIRST is and what we do, and includes a hands-on demonstration of one of the VEXs or FLL robots.

Asides from meeting with corporate liaisons we also do a lot of indirect communications through e-mail. We work through this by researching which companies would best benefit by working with us and sending them invitation proposals to join our organization. Follow-up proposals are done in order to keep on top communication with our prospective companies.
