The Purdue FIRST Website has been redesigned and optimized for a better browsing experience.

Many new features have been added. Several of these include:

  • Better Designed Forms
  • File Downloads for PFP Members

Look for Us at the Championship in St. Louis

Purdue FIRST Programs will be at the FIRST Robotics Championship in St. Louis.  We will be hosting a conference with the 2012 FIRST Championship Robotics Conference Schedule.  We present our conference:

FIRST for Life! Starting a College FIRST Program
Where: Room 230
When: 9:00 am Thursday, April 26th

We will also be present on scholarship row both Thursday and Friday.

Participating in Engineering Extravaganza on February 20th

The Purdue Student Engineering Foundation will be hosting a engineering showcase event called Engineering Extravaganza on February 20th in the PMU ballrooms from 1:30-3:30pm.   Purdue FIRST Programs will be among the organizations presenting at the event.  Jefferson High School’s FIRST Robotics Team 1646 allowed us to borrow their robot to display at the event.

Hosting FRC Open House Febuary 20th

Purdue FIRST Programs is hosting the FRC Open House
in association with:
-Harrison High School
-Jefferson High School
-McCutcheon High School
-West Lafayette High School

The event takes place on February 20th from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at West Lafayette High School.

We would love for you to join us at this great event. All four High School FIRST Robotics teams will be demonstrating all that they have done during this build season.

Interested in Robotics? Mentoring? Outreach?

Purdue FIRST Programs is a student-run organization that mentors students in elementary, middle, and high school in the US FIRST family of robotics programs. We also have Public Relations, Information Technology, Regional, and Industrial Relations subteams.

Since its inception in 1999, Purdue FIRST Programs has been a successful collaboration between Purdue University and the surrounding community. Through our Robotics, and Junior Robotics programs as well as the regional events we plan, Purdue FIRST Programs has been and will continue to be an innovative program that greatly benefits the population that it serves.
